TUITION

Private tutoring services are provided at an hourly rate with pay-as-you-go option (all materials are included; any additional fees will be disclosed). Tuition and fees depend upon meeting site, location, course format, instructor level, subject, number of students in the group, and additional coordination factors. Institution based courses have a pre-determined enrollment fee. The tuition for Atclyff entry level program for standardized test review module starts at $600. Student-specific tuition quotes for their custom review program may be obtained by a quick complimentary initial telephone consult. Data for tuition for an average student are provided in the reference tables for planning. Additional official test and administrative fees may apply for select preparation configurations (generally less than $100). Extended payment plans and Financial Aid may be available to qualified students. Atclyff may offer tuition reduction for second and subsequent family members studying with our team upon request. Students who have completed a review with a different review company or who want to focus only on a specific area of the test may require fewer instruction hours. The pay-as-you-go option for instruction allows the students to be sure they are happy with their progress on their practice test scores and utilize the hours they may need.

Private instruction entails designing a custom curriculum specific to the student's needs. A general template of what has worked well for prior students is shared to help students with general questions and planning. Upon initial consult, the teacher will advise whether more or less preparation is advised compared to the recommended schedule. Ongoing progress measurement will provide the student with feedback to assess the need for additional instruction.

The Atclyff team focuses on teaching fundamentals. We assign pertinent homework and expect completion of assignments. Typically on a regular review schedule, a minimum of 15-20 hours per week of self study in addition to the sessions will be expected. We primarily focus on discussion on official tests, content, and questions. Frequently, 1000-2000 questions and 8-45 tests are reviewed during a standard review. Positive outcomes on test scores established this range of questions to be sufficient in contrast to 5000+ cumbersome questions from an external question bank.
