PSAT is a standardized assessment administered to high school students before they sit for the SAT. National Merit Scholarships are awarded to select examinees based on their performance on the PSAT. Preparation for PSAT helps high school students also prepare for their upcoming SAT or ACT examinations.

Atclyff Team offers a rigorous review program for success on the PSAT that is unique in comparison to other national prep courses, self-study guide books, and online platform material. Our approach is to diagnose each student's preliminary strengths and weaknesses on the contemporary PSAT material, while we simultaneously evaluate the student's individual skill set. A custom study plan is prepared for the PSAT student to ensure an effective PSAT review and preparation to optimize the student's time and resources. If the student has completed a review course with a different team, that knowledge may be integrated into the program. The role of the expert teacher is to quickly teach the material that is not understood, and not consume time on the material the student already knows well.

The Atclyff team prepares high school students for their upcoming PSAT examination through a custom tailored program, which may be formatted in a review class or a private tutoring setting. The content, depth, and scope of our PSAT course may depend on the academic background of the student and PSAT preparation and review completed to date. During the PSAT Mathematics preparation, all question types are introduced in the order of numbers, algebra, geometry, statistics and probability, and most efficient strategies are established to optimize time and performance. Atclyff teachers follow the official Collegeboard PSAT publications and train students at all levels and types of English language PSAT questions, reading comprehension techniques, and grammar and writing content that will be tested on the contemporary PSAT. After fundamental reading techniques are reinforced, our teachers will suggest the effective strategies in critical reasoning, general test-taking, and overall time management to maximize score gains on the PSAT. Atclyff instructors have observed that no single method of PSAT test taking is universally applicable to every student. Therefore, Atclyff students are individually prepared for what may best work for their upcoming PSAT sittings. Our PSAT Review can be combined with a subsequent SAT or ACT review to prepare students for their college entrance exams.
